Made by internationally known artists Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier, the Mute Meadow is located near Ebrington Square on the banks of the Foyle River.

It consists of 40 pairs of tall columns illuminated with colours from the palette of the Guildhall’s stained windows. The colours change depending on the sound intensity of the local surroundings.

This extraordinary art installation may look simplistic, but seeing it shine is a truly memoriable experiance.
