The Walker Memorial Plinth
A well-preserved, although statueless plinth, which is located on Derry’s Walls.
St Columba’s Statue
Located in St Columb’s Park, it was created from bronze in memory of Derry’s patron and founding father.
Sir Robert Alexander-Ferguson Statue
Proudly welcoming visitors at the entrance of Brooke’s Park, the statue depicts Derry’s county Lieutenant, militia colonel and mayor from the end of the 18th century.
The Apprentice Angel
The memorial was erected in the Fountain district across the Cathedral Youth Club and depicts a man dressed in a suit covered in keys.
The International Sailor Sculpture
Situated on The Ebrington Square, it exhibits a sailor in a traditional uniform, memorialising Derry’s and the allied nation’s contribution to the Battle of the Atlantic.
Hands Across the Divide Monument
Standing on the western side of Craigavon Bridge, the monument portrays two men reaching for each other’s hands.
The War Memorial
The statue is located on a roundabout in the very centre of the city and depicts figures of sailor, soldier and angel looking over them.
Centre for Contemporary Art
As the name implies Londonderry’s Centre of Contemporary Art houses various modern works.
Mute Meadow
Made by internationally known artists Vong Phaophanit and Claire Oboussier, the Mute Meadow is located near Ebrington Square on the banks of the Foyle River.
