Built in the 19th century, the Heritage Tower remains one of the smallest available museums in Northern Ireland. The structure is the last remaining part of Derry prison, in which some of the famous Irish leaders, for example Wolfe Tone and De Valera, were confined. As for today, the building functions as a heritage centre and contains various artifacts of the World War I period.

Exhibitions inside are available by appointment only.
